First it was a cool coffeehouse with live music, then there was great food, then hand-rolled sushi, then more than 24 domestic and imported beers... and now live theater in Downtown Lake City, Florida? You gotta be kidding me! What can't these guys do?? Just gotta say Dearly Departed was unbelievable, and it was so cool to see all the new faces in there Sunday. I would never have believed you could actually put on a full play in the café, but you did and it was excellent! It turned out to be the best of both worlds - an intimate venue, but with a surprising amount of seating and space. Kudos to all the actors and actresses whose performances transformed this little downtown restaurant into an inspiring theatre! I guess we can now add 'playhouse' to the growing description of the MSc. Anyway, I know you all worked really hard on this production & I just wanted to say well done!

Garrett and Josh, Citizens Against Forced Utilities cannot begin to thank you enough for all your hard work and dedication, which resulted in a first-class celebration for the fine folks of Columbia County, Florida last night. The food was plentiful and delicious, the presentation was absolutely beautiful, and the professional-level bluegrass show the Andrews family band put on made the event extraordinary! Local businesses like yours are the heart and soul of our community, and the experience you created for last night's event far exceeded our expectations! Thanks again, and we'll be seeing you soon for coffee, sandwiches, salads, soups, beer, wine, live music, parties, events... well, you get the idea!

Thanks so much to Garrett and Josh for letting Citizens Against Forced Utilities use the Marion Street Café website and building to help get the word out and gather petitions about the forced utility issue in Columbia County. You guys recognized an important issue and stepped up to help your community in a really big way. We got over a hundred eligible petitions from your efforts, and that literally helps shape the future of this county for generations to come! We still have some hurdles to get past before this issue gets decided, but we'll keep working hard and everyone can monitor the effort on our website (see link at left). Our message to the county at large is this: Local businesses like Marion Street Café were there to help you in a time of crisis! Please remember this the next time you're in the mood for a sandwich, beer, wine, cup of coffee, or weekend entertainment! Local businesses benefit local people! Have missed you two this week. Computer started eating itself program by program on Monday -- That was fun! I felt like I was in some bizarro universe each day staying one step ahead of some pacman inside my desktop. He is dead now. I finally killed him yesterday when he stuck his head up for the last time. Heading to Destin for Rotary District Conference on the beach. I know, you feel real bad for me. Won't be back until late Sunday night! I keep thinking how can it be Friday if I haven't had my sushi! Love you!

I ate here when I was in Lake City Fla visiting my daughter I really enjoyed your cafe good food and great people great atmosphere. Kudos to you guys at your cafe!
