Comments: I have been to "The Cafe" a couple of times.. Out of the couple of time I have been there the talent has been just as awesome as the delicious food they serve. The Cafe is a wonderful place to go in Lake City, and I highly recommend going there! Unfortunately they are shutting down, but hopefully a similar business will open back up. This is a family friendly place, the food is healthy and delicious, the atmosphere is great, the talent is surprisingly good, and it is run by tree-hugging old-school hippies that met at the old Marion Street Cafe R.I.P.. Do us a favor in Lake City, open up another awesome business like The Cafe!

Comments: What's up with this place? All these different kinds of music, all these different kinds of people? What's the deal? I wonder why there isn't another place like this in town!

Comments: My companion Billy and I paid a visit to The Café on a recent trip to Florida. I must say it was a very charming place that was very lovely and wonderful. I met Billy Hanson when he came around to the house wanting a job. So I hired him in the workshop to refinish furniture. He had some talent, and I wanted to encourage him. During this time I developed hypoglycemia. I blacked out at times. I don't eat well. So Billy would stay over and take care of me when I wasn't well. He did not live at Mercer House, as has been stated. But I suppose that's neither here nor there. As for this restaurant, why it was top drawer.

Comments: I was at The Cafe Thursday night and my husband had just returned home from fighting the forest fires in California. We had a great dinner, Wine, and the entertainment was awesome. Oral night represents just a small portion of the talent we have hear in Lake City and we really enjoyed the show. Keep up the good work guys!

Comments: I had such a wonderful time at The Cafe! Everyone is so warm and welcoming I felt at home right away. I was there on Thursday night which happened to be Oral Night and I have to say there is a lot of talented people in Lake City between the poetry and musical improve and collaboration I was defiantly impressed especially with how motivating and positive everyone was. I also enjoyed some tasty ICE COLD beers and then switcht to red wine with my dinner. I had a Greek salad with chicken that I was very happy with but I'm gona have to go back and try more things off that menu!
Thank you for a wonderful experience you can be sure to see me again!

Comments: Greetings, everyone! Just wanted to say how grateful I am to have a "reasonable" place to enjoy a glass of wine and some decent conversation. I appreciate the folks who continue to make this possible - not just the Ostrander family, but also the awesome customers who frequent The Café and add so much to it! Black Kenny, Doug, Tyler, Jen, The Lydick family, James, the Academy, the cast and crew, my producer, my agent... oops, wrong speech... anyway - you guys are a really special bunch of people and I just wanted to say I appreciate all of you! See you soon!
